Proverbs 11 – Since we cannot go back in time, we need to say, “God, this is where I am, but I’m willing to lay the past down and start from here.” When we give that which isn’t ours to keep, God will bless.

Ecclesiastes 11, Genesis 22 – “The Lord will provide.” Abraham had gone all the way with God. He had given up his only son, knowing that God could/would provide. Abrahams faith was counted towards him as as righteousness.

Psalm 17 – David is making requests, but note that he is coming to God with a pure heart. When we come to God and ask for things, are we coming to God with a pure heart? Are there things in our lives and hearts that we need to take care of?

Isaiah 40-45 – There is much comfort in these chapters, but there is some qualifications as well.

  • God claims us as his own in these verses.
  • He tells us that He is God.
  • He tells us that He loves us.
  • He tells us that There is a way.

Job 23:8-12 – Job says that he looked all around and didn’t see God. Job says that what helped him make it even during these times was the Word of God.

God knows the things that are happening around you today. He knows it better than we do.

Psalms 30 – God knows what we are going through. We have his favor for our lifetime, He knows that we need him at all times. He knows that we go through hard times, but He also knows that joy comes in the morning.

Psalm 31:7 – God has considered our trouble! He knows when we face adversaries.

Psalm 34:4-7 – God hears us. God delivers us. There is a part for us to do – “I sought the Lord.” God hears, and will respond – “He heard me, and delivered me.”

Psalm 37:23-24 – God knows. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. God will show us where we should go if we are walking with Him.

Psalm 46:1 – God knows when we are in trouble. He is there and He will be our refuge and our strength.

Psalm 50:15 – God knows when we are in trouble. He will deliver us.

Psalm 55:22 – God knows about your burden. He wants to take your burden.

Psalm 84 – The joy of dwelling with God. The joy of going to church, worshiping, and gathering. Blessed is the man that trusted in the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord, with all thine heart. He will direct thy paths.

Psalm 62:1-5 – Trust in Him at all times. God is a refuge for us. If God does withhold something from us it is for our best. The Lord will provide.

Psalm 37:3-7 – Trust. Delight. Commit. Rest. In the Lord.

Isaiah 55 – An invitation to come, to come and to drink. Listen and you will hear. Seek the Lord. God’s ways are higher than our ways. There is joy in the future! There is a good, a brighter day coming!

Psalm 27:14 – Wait on the Lord. Be of good courage. He will strengthen your heart.
