John 18 – How do we process all that is going on around this time of year?

We are part of the kingdom of Christ, but do we loose focus because of the events in the news and the times we find ourselves living in?

How do we relate to all this?

It is good for us to know that living our lives in a way that reflects Christ does make a difference. Even though we aren’t always aware of the differences we are making in the lives of those around us.

If you were to set up a king, what would that king look like?

Jeremiah talks about those who settle for inanimate objects, those who worship what they’ve created with their hands.

If we are looking for a king, we need to be looking for something greater than a president or worldly king.

Luke 17:20 – The kingdom God is within me, it is within you. Jesus’ method is entirely different. In the world we see boundaries and borders.

Isaiah 9:6, 1 Corinthians, Mark 10:19, Acts 17:24
