Quotable Quotes
God’s presence. Is it a part of your life. Can you feel it here this morning?
The Ark of the covenant was the center of the worship of experience. It was the meeting point of God and man.
God’s presence was there on the mercy-seat, an image of God was never to be attempted.
God is concerned with His commandments and the Laws He gives for His people. Our view of obedience is essential to our understanding of who God is.
God’s presence is to provide direction for our lives. When He goes we are to go. When He stops we are to stop. In a lot of ways like the children of Israel as they moved through the desert. They didn’t choose where they would go. They followed God’s leading and direction.
When we move with God we are in the best place we can be. It is the safest place. It is the most joyful place.
We all will go through tough times. The promise of God is that He will be with us. The banks may be overflowing, the waves may be tall, but God says “Fear not for I have redeemed you I have called you by name – you are mine. When you pass through the waters I will be with you and through the rivers they shall not overwhelm you, when you walk through fire you shall not be burned and the flames shall not consume you.”
God is with us. Let us be obedient to follow Him where He leads.
