John 11 – Thomas was a loyal disciple of Jesus. He wanted to know the truth. He didn’t trust the other disciples when it came to whether Jesus had actually been raised from the dead. Thomas wasn’t going to be mislead by his friends.

When Jesus talked to Thomas he said, “look at my hands and my side…” He didn’t say, “Thomas, here I am, believe it.” What would the other disciples have said if they were in Thomas’s place?

Isaiah 4:6 – Have we settled who God is? We need to know exactly who God is and deeply know God and the power of his resurrection.

A lot of people decide that they don’t want to believe. The children of Israel saw God… yet they didn’t enter the promised land because they didn’t believe. They didn’t want to believe.

The Holy Spirit teaches us all things. He cannot do that if we refuse him and quench the Spirit. We are tempted at times to doubt in different situations, we are constantly bombarded with the temptation to doubt.

  • Does God exist?
  • Is God Good?
  • Is the Bible true?
  • Is Christ who he says he is?

Romans 1 – If we really know God these questions will often be secondary. There is lots of evidence that God exists…
