John 3:7-21
“Ye Must Be Born Again”
We do not, automatically, through our parents inherit new life. Doing good will not bring you to a new birth.
Ezekiel 36:24-28
What does it mean to be born again?
- You must believe – believing in the work that Christ has done for us.
John 3:16
The condition is that you believe…that you believe in what Jesus did for you on the cross, then you are saved.
Romans 1:16,17
It is a believing that moves to action. You must stand up. You must say it. “Jesus is the ONLY way to Salvation.”
- You must repent
Acts 2:38
To change your view – to agree with God. A sorrow for sin to the point of changing ones mind about sin.
We want victory -but we still enjoy. It’s impossible to have victory if we still enjoy it…

Bring forth fruit worthy of repentance.
What is the evidence of repenting in my life?
Repentance will not brag about sin.
- We must confess

Saying that you think different. We agree that what God says is true.

We agree that what we have done is sin…we are guilty as charged.

Confess your faults one to another. Sometimes this is difficult.

We don’t obey to be born again.

As we move forwards in obedience he will lead us to where he wants us to be.
