Matthew 1:21-28 – This mother saw Jesus and knew that he was the only one who could meet her need. She saw in him the compassion that he was willing to pour out on her, even though she realized that she was a gentile. She had a strong faith, a faith that was rewarded.
John 19:25-27 – While on the cross, perhaps minutes before he died, Jesus had great compassion for his own mother.
Mark 10:13-6 – Whether their mothers were present or not Jesus was blessing children who had mothers. These mothers knew where to find help and blessing for their children.
