Matthew 16:4 – Jesus often used the phrase “follow me” when he was inviting people to be His disciple. If we want to be followers of Jesus we should watch how He lived and take up His cross, the life He has for us, and follow Him.

We are all “little” in God’s sight. Jesus cares about us, just as a good shepherd cares for His sheep. Jesus doesn’t give up on lost sheep! A sheep that was lost and is now found is cause for rejoicing! Jesus desires that all would find Him, He rejoices over those who “stay found” as well!

Jesus is the light of the world. He is the cure for spiritual blindness and He can also cure physical blindness. The trouble we see is an opportunity to bring Jesus into our day-to-day lives and to see His glory.

Jesus came down to earth and lived life as a man so He knows how life goes down here. Our lives here should be spent learning from our master and following the footsteps that He has left for us. He knows what we’re going through, He has walked in our shoes.

Scriptures used – Matthew 16, Matthew 4, Matthew 18, John 9, 1 Peter, John 14, Revelation 3:20
