We all are all co-creators and rulers with God. There is a place for us in God’s kingdom to participate in whatever it is that He is trying to do in this world. This is true regardless of whether we are single or married.
The kingdom of God is wherever God is working and moving.
When we make choices that bring righteousness and joy and peace into “our space” – that is the kingdom of God. God’s kingdom is present when God’s will and work is being done.
Genesis 1:26-28
1 Corinthians 7:1-40
Regardless of whether we are single or married we all face the challenge to live a kingdom of God life – no matter where we are and no matter are circumstances.
We can spend most of our lives trying to figure out what to do with our lives. It’s not just a problem for singles, but it is definitely a challenge.
A major challenge for singles is to find a place where they belong. Married people belong to their spouses, single people often have a hard time feeling like they “belong” to anything.
Those of us who are married need to think about how we can bless those who are struggling with belonging.
We all need to have a vision or work towards gaining a vision of God’s kingdom and the redemption and restoration that God want’s to do in our lives wherever we are.
