Quotable Quotes
Are you acquainted with God? Do you know Him?
Identifying with Jesus is part of the communion experience.
We don’t naturally know God. We aren’t born with that acquaintance.
We need more than knowledge of God. We need reconciliation.
All the knowledge in the world won’t bring us to communion with God if we are alienated from God. We must also be reconciled to Him.
Reconciliation is two-sided. God is reaching out, but we must come to Him in humility and embrace the reconciliation that He offers.
Anything that is separating you from God is not worth it. Nothing is worth separation from God.
It is a privilege to identify with Christ. But it is also very costly. When we identify with Christ we identify with His death. When He died, we died. We cannot have close communion with God unless we are willing to identify with Him in His death, both privately and publicly.
Communion involves a relationship with God. It involves a relationship with the people, the church of God.
