1 Kings 19 – This is when Elijah realized that his life was in danger and that Jezebel was out to get him. God was present with Elijah and He met his need!

John the Baptist is someone that we know a decent amount about. He was a cousin to Jesus, and he paved the way for Jesus and His ministry. The crowds had been following John the Baptist, and then they started to follow Jesus.

At some point, John the Baptist was put into prison. He knew why he was in prison, but while he was in prison it seems like he started to have some second thoughts. He sent some of his disciples to ask Jesus if He was for sure the Christ, or had John misunderstood. Jesus confirms to John that yes, He is the Christ.

2 Timothy 4 – There are things here that give us a little window into Paul’s life and are worth thinking about. Paul knew how quickly people’s opinions and outlooks can change.
