We are longing for the coming of Kingdom of God. We long to be a part of something that is finally perfect and the way God planned for it to be. A place where things are done just the way that God’s will would be done.
God is using the church to bring change to the world. The church is God’s program to change the world.
The problem is that we have all, each of us, taken the wrong way. We have all lived for the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. .
How is the world going to change?
Left to ourselves humanity and society is a failure. How is God going to change the world? Through the church, the body of believers. The kingdom of God transcends all of the boundaries and walls that normally exist in our world.
Change comes with people, individually, coming to a saving knowledge and relationship with Christ. This is the message that we have to bring to the world, the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The greatest miracle that ever happens on earth is the transformation that takes place in the heart of a new Christian.
It is good for us to stop and think about where we would be without Jesus. It is good to see what we have been saved and changed from.
We need to remember that God can do amazing things, He can save the worst person you know – and he wants to!
Real adventures come when we get involved with God’s program and what He is doing with the world, the thrill that we get is totally different, it has eternal value!
Jesus said that he didn’t come for those who were well, but rather for those who needed to be healed. Jesus came that we may have life and have life more abundantly.
Jesus brings us true meaning in life.
