Quotable Quotes
Before Jesus went back to heaven He promised his followers that He would send a comforter to live inside of those who followed Him.
Yesterday we talked about Jesus being or Lawyer and that He is influencing our Judge. Jesus is putting in a good word for each of us. Meanwhile the Holy Spirit is with us, right beside us and within us.
God will show through in our lives if He is living inside of us. The Holy Spirit is within us and he teaches us and leads us – He even shows us how to pray. The Holy Spirit will give our prayers strength.
The Holy Spirit is quite involved in our lives as Christians.
There are a lot of things that the Holy Spirit does for us. He lives within us, He lifts up Jesus in our lives, He teaches us truth.
There is a tension between the Christian and the world. It comes from the tension that is between God and Satan. Jesus said to some people who were giving him a hard time that they were “from their father the devil.”
Satan is in the world. We must recognize that we are caught in the crossfires between God and Satan. We are safe because we have God inside of us and He is greater than the power of the one who is in the world.
The best way to learn is to sit and read our Bibles and ask God to teach us. There are lots of wonderful things out there that have been written about the Bible, but the best teacher is the Holy Spirit inside of us, working with the Word of God.
Maybe God is waiting for you to come to him. God is a merciful God and He wants as many to come to a saving faith in Him as possible. The Holy Spirit is responsible for leading us to a saving knowledge of Him.
God is the source of Love. The one who showed us love was Jesus through His life on the earth. Fear is a very natural thing, but we read here that God through his love, and through the Holy Spirit can cast out Fear. God is perfect love.
We can’t make it through this life without a guide. But He is here and He wants to lead us the way we need to go.
