Quotable Quotes
We have a choice when it comes to Jesus and Salvation.
There are times even after we are walking with God for some time when we need to turn to the light of Jesus and cry out for help and God will help us.
Does God love us? Yes he does. It is our sins that separates us from God and makes us live in darkness.
God’s call of salvation comes out from Calvary and goes to everyone. There is a time to study and count the cost, but today is the day of salvation. Don’t leave it till you’ve figured everything out because you likely won’t get it all figured out.
God is able to help us no matter how “bad we are.” There is always power in Jesus to help us.
When we look for a lawyer we want someone who understands our situation. This lawyer concept is given to us in verse 2, we have an advocate (lawyer) Jesus Christ.
Jesus, right now is interceding with God the father for us. That is the kind of lawyer that we need, someone who will put in a kind word in for us to the judge. Jesus is the best option to choose as our lawyer.
There are times, in our darkest places, we lose sight of who God is. Job was in the middle of an exceptionally hard time and he said, “I really wish that there was someone to mediate between me and God, someone to bring us together.” He was in a lot of ways pointing forwards to Jesus.
If you feel your faith is failing, remember that Jesus is praying for you. He prayed for Peter… that his faith would be restored and that once it was restored that he would turn back and be influential with the brothers.
When it comes to paying for our lawyer, we cannot. Jesus has paid the price for us!
