Quotable Quotes
Am I ahead of the rest? Do I stand out? One may feel like he doesn’t measure up. He may feel like he is a disaster. These are all aspects of pride.
Pride is an abomination in the eyes of God.
Without God’s help, without God’s cleansing, the heart is deceitfully wicked.
Walking with God helps our pride problem. A proud person has a hard time walking with God.

We can practice humility! It doesn’t change our heart, but it can help us to experience a true change in our hearts. There are wrong things that can feed pride – stop doing them.
God deals with pride. Sometimes God “jolts” His people with a reminder that they are not as big, as self-important, as they thought.
There is a glorious freedom in walking humbly with God.
