Nehemiah 1:1-11 – Nehemiah felt and accepted the responsibility for his people and responded with prayer and fasting. In his prayers Nehemiah went back to the promises of God.

Having these gifts, let us use them. Job was brought to a state where it wasn’t about him, but rather about God and who God is.
Are we truly associating ourselves with our brethren in Christ? We need to recognize that God has us here for a reason, a part of this body of Christ. We want Christ to be all in all.
Have we repented as did Nehemiah? Do we recognize our sin?
We need to realize that we aren’t up to the tasks that we are called to do. It is only through the Lord and through his strength in our lives that we can do the things we are called to.
