Revival at Any Cost
How badly do you want revival? How seriously are you seeking after revival. How much time and effort are you willing to commit.
Any cost is at “any cost” – no price to high.
Psalm 138
The psalmist says here that he “praised God with his whole heart”.
There is a difference between doing a job and doing it with your whole heart.
Part of revival is opening up our lives to God and tellingĀ him “anything you want to put your finger on in my life…you can freely do so”.
When you get busy -what is the first thing that often goes. Prayer, Bible reading, meditation….and we start slipping and feeling farther from God.
Have we left our first love?
Revival At Any Cost – Points
- We must desire revival.
Are we satisfied where we are spiritually? Or are we desiring something more? Do we want just enough to get by? Do we want just enough to make it in the gate? We must want revival…God can’t/won’t force revival.
Phillipians 3:8
That I may know him…I WANT to KNOW him.
- We must be willing to pay the Cost
Luke 9:23-26
For revival to happen, we must be willing to give whatever it costs to have revival in our lives.
One of the prices is Self-Denial -I do not have a reserve. I’m not keeping my hands on it.
There are things that are dear to us -but are we willing to release it?
Are we going to hold these things loosely?
“I believe that any people of God can have revival if they obey from the heart and unconditionally do the will of God.”
There is no use praying for revival until we get rid of sin in all its forms.
- What are some hindrances to Revival?
- indulging in known sins
- selfishness
- idols in the heart
- doubt
- a refusal to make restitution
John 10:10
We are going to get shaken in life – what is going to splash out?
Ephesians 3:9,10
